An Empath's journey to spiritual protection: Changes are if you have even felt a little sensitive around people, then you probably are absorbing so much energy that is not even yours.

 

1. Morning Energy Protection Ritual

  • Grounding Meditation: Upon waking, practice a 10-15 minute grounding meditation. Visualize roots extending from your feet into the earth, anchoring you in stability and security.

  • Shielding Visualization: Create an energy shield around yourself. Imagine a sphere of white light enveloping your body. Set the intention that this shield will protect you from absorbing others' energies while still allowing love and positive energy to flow in.

  • Affirmation of Power: Speak empowering affirmations, such as:

    • “I am sovereign over my energy. I am immune to the negativity of the world.”

    • “I radiate life force energy, and it grows with every breath.”

    • “I am spiritually protected and guided at all times.”

    • “I am a powerful being and I decern others energy.”

2. Daily Energy Cleansing Practice

  • Smudging/Essential Oils: Use sage, palo santo, or essential oils like frankincense or lavender to cleanse your aura at least once a day. As you cleanse, affirm that any foreign energy is being removed from your field.

  • Salt Bath: If possible, take a daily or weekly bath with sea salt, Epsom salts, or Himalayan salt to clear any residual energy you've picked up. Add essential oils like lavender or eucalyptus for an extra purification boost.

3. Self-Energy Maintenance

  • Chakra Balancing: Spend a few minutes each day doing chakra visualization or Reiki on yourself. Focus on strengthening your solar plexus and root chakras, which are key to maintaining personal boundaries and grounding.

  • Daily Gratitude & Joy: Embrace practices that uplift your spirit, such as expressing gratitude or engaging in creative pursuits. High-vibration emotions like love and joy raise your frequency and create a sense of timelessness and renewal.

  • Healthy Lifestyle: Support your spiritual routine with a healthy lifestyle, including a plant-based diet, regular physical movement (like yoga or tai chi), and hydration.

7. Energy-Infused Diet

  • Superfoods: Incorporate foods and herbs known for longevity and energy, such as spirulina, reishi mushrooms, ashwagandha, and turmeric. These nourish both your body and energetic system.

  • Sun-Gazing/Prana: If it resonates with you, practice safe sun-gazing or connect with nature early in the morning or evening. Absorbing solar and natural energy is believed to enhance life force and spiritual clarity.
